Day 1 : Manali Arrival
Upon your arrival at Chandigarh/Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted and assisted by our representative. Prepare to embark on an enchanting journey to the "Queen of Hills" – Manali. As we drive through picturesque landscapes, you'll have the opportunity to visit the serene Sundernagar Lake, the impressive Pandoh Dam, and the revered Vaishno Devi Temple. We'll also pass through the breathtaking Kullu Valley, offering stunning views and a glimpse of the region's natural beauty. Upon reaching Manali, you'll check into your comfortable hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 2 :Manali to Chandratal
After enjoying a delightful breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to the stunning Chandratal Lake. En route, we will journey towards the majestic Rohtang Pass or Snow Point, located 110 km from Manali at an altitude of 3,958 meters. Along the way, immerse yourself in the captivating sights of Nehru Kund, the charming village of Gulaba, and the cascading Rahalla Falls. After exploring Snow Point, we will visit the picturesque Solang Valley, where you can indulge in thrilling activities like ropeway rides and paragliding. In the evening, check into your cozy camp for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :Chandertal - Loser - Kaza
After breakfast, drive to Kaza. On the way, visit Loser, the first village in Spiti Valley, for tea and a short hike around the spectacular Chandratal Lake. From Loser, continue to Kaza (50 km, 2 hours). Upon arrival, check into your camp. Chandratal, meaning "Lake of the Moon," is at an altitude of about 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) in the Himalayas. This crescent-shaped lake, surrounded by scree mountains and a stunning cirque, is a popular spot for trekkers and campers. The lake is accessible from Batal by a 14 km motorable road or on foot from Kunzum Pass. In spring, the meadows around the lake bloom with wildflowers. Upon arrival in Kaza, check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 :Kaza - Dhankkar Gompa - Kaza – Kibber - Tabo
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kaza. Enjoy the stunning views of exotic nature along the way. Visit Pin Valley National Park, located in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. Explore Dhankhar Gompa, the ancient capital of the Spiti king, perched high on barren rocky slopes. Stroll through the local markets in Kaza, the sub-divisional headquarters. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Nako - Tabo - Kalpa
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Nako. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. After some rest, visit Nako Lake and the village, known for its scenic lake bordering the village. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. En route to Kalpa, visit Tabo Monastery, famous for its unique wall paintings and mud statues. Upon reaching Kalpa, enjoy the panoramic view of Kinnaur Kailash. Explore the area and soak in the refreshing environment. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 :Kalpa - Chitkul – Kalpa
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Chitkul (20 km), the last village on the Indo-Tibetan road. Chitkul, in Kinnaur district, is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. The Indian road ends here. During winters, it is mostly covered with snow, and the inhabitants move to lower regions. Chitkul is famous for its high-quality potatoes. Visit the ancient village, temple, and river. In the evening, drive back to Kalpa (40 km, 1.4 hrs) via the picturesque Baspa Valley, dominated by Kamru Fort. Visit the fort and village, enjoying the natural beauty and warm hospitality. Later, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 :Kalpa - Sangla sightseeing
Explore Sangla's beauty on Day X of your journey. After breakfast, depart from your previous location and enjoy a scenic 1.4-hour drive to Sangla. Upon arrival, marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of Kinnaur Kailash. Spend the afternoon exploring the area and immersing yourself in its refreshing environment. Check into your hotel in the evening for a relaxing overnight stay, surrounded by the serene ambiance of Sangla.
Day 8 :Sangla- Sarahan –Narkanda
Embark on a scenic journey from your hotel after breakfast, heading towards Shimla via Sarahan. Marvel at the majestic mountain top on Sarahan and visit the historic Bhimakali Temple, dating back 1500 years. This temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, holds immense significance as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and is a focal point of the former Bushahr State rulers. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the Bird Park, renowned for breeding birds like Jujurana and Monal, while enjoying breathtaking views of the Shir Khand peaks. Day 9 :Narkanda - Kufri - Shimla
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a drive to Shimla, with a delightful stopover at Kufri along the way.
Day 10 :Departure from Shimla
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your journey to Chandigarh/Delhi. Our representative will accompany you to the Chandigarh/Delhi Railway Station/Airport, where you can catch your onward flight/train and return home with cherished memories of your beautiful Himachal holiday tour.
