Day 1 : Chandigarh to Dharamshala
Upon your arrival at Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport, our representative will warmly greet you and assist you. Get ready to embark on a scenic 7-hour drive to Dharamshala, covering a distance of 201.1 kilometers. Upon reaching Dharamshala, check into the hotel where you'll be staying. Enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind for an overnight stay, preparing to explore the beauty of Dharamshala the next day.
Day 2 : Dharamshala – Mcleodganj - Dalhousie
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Mcleodganj. Explore the Buddhist Monastery, which serves as the home of the revered Buddhist Guru Dalai Lama. Visit the Bhagsunag Temple and Bhagsu Fall, immersing yourself in the tranquil surroundings. Take in the serene beauty of Dal Lake, pay homage at the War Memorial, and enjoy the sunset from Sunset Point. Don't miss the historic St. John’s Church and the iconic International Cricket Stadium. Day 3 : Dalhousie Local Sightseeing along with Khajjair
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Dalhousie. Visit Khajjiar, known as the "Mini Switzerland of India," and explore its serene lake and ancient Nag Temple. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the Mall Road. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 : Dalhousie – Chamera Lake - Dalhousie
After breakfast, head to one of Dalhousie's top attractions, Chamera Lake. This artificial lake, bordered by stunning valleys and mountains, is created by the Chamera Dam on the River Ravi, supporting a hydroelectric project. The lake, situated near Dalhousie in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, offers picturesque views. The dam has three phases generating a total of 1071 MW of electricity. The region experiences fluctuating temperatures, reaching up to 35°C during the day and dropping to 18-20°C at night. Chamera Lake is devoid of aquatic life, making it perfect for water sports like rowing, motor boating, paddle boating, and more. Tourists can also enjoy houseboats and shikara rides, with the government ensuring facilities for various recreational activities.
Day 5 : Dalhousie to Amritsar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a 4-hour and 39-minute drive to Amritsar, covering a distance of 202.6 kilometers. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and take some rest. Later, proceed to visit the Wagah Border ceremony, a vibrant display of patriotism and military spectacle. Then, visit Jallianwala Bagh, a poignant memorial marking the tragic massacre of civilians by British soldiers in 1919. In the evening, explore the Indo-Pak border and marvel at the serene beauty of the Golden Temple, one of the most revered Sikh shrines in the world. Day 6 : Amritsar to Delhi Drop
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Chandigarh, which is approximately a 5-hour drive covering a distance of 227.6 kilometers. Our driver will drop you at the Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, from where you can proceed to your onward destination.
